Daisychain Benevolent Fund event success

In February 2017 we held a donation of goods charity event for the Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. The aim of the trust is the relief of sickness and the preservation of health of children and young adults in the community.

The donations, which included clothes, shoes and bric-a-brac, will be sold at the charity shop in St Johns to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and local hospital facilities.

Why Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust?

Ellie Durn, Marketing Executive, said:

“We wanted to help out a local charity. When we took the time to look into what the Daisychain Benevolent Fund does and who it supports, we thought there was no better place to invest our time and efforts into. Hopefully the work that we have done will raise the profile of the charity and inspire more businesses to organise charity events in order to raise more money for such a fantastic cause”

The event was a huge success and we collected a large amount of donations for the charity. We would like to thank the businesses on Elgar Business Centre which supported our event and donated goods.

Davina Roberts, retail operations director at the Benevolent Fund, said:

“We are enormously grateful to Ellie at Clearview for organising this collection of goods for our shops. It is only through donations such as this that we are able to raise funds to buy essential equipment and to provide facilities for children and young people in the local area.”
